1980年生于广岛，现居京都。2006 年京都精华大学大学院艺术研究科修士毕业。将洗脸台、漫画书、衣服等日常就能接触到的物品，以及用高超技术制作的人物等木雕进行随机的切割组合.通过这样的组合,赋予物品新的意义以及表达诗意般的氛围,是花冈作品的独有特征。近年曾参展:“Still moving @KCUA” (Gallery @KCUA, Kyoto, 2015) 、“Humor and Leaps: Touching There” (Okazaki City Museum of Art, Aichi, 2013)

曾获奖:Nomination for VOCA 2016, a special prize at the 12th Taro Okamoto Award for Contemporary Art (2009)、Excellence prize at the 2006 Jeans Factory Art Award
